THOR

BRAND SPANKING NEW, Icelandic Coast Guard Offshore Patrol
Vessel (OPV) THOR alongside Ocean Terminals,Halifax,Nova Scotia on 18th October
2011.The THOR, designated UT 512L, is an enlarged design of the Norwegian
Coast Guard ship Harstand. Thor was scheduled for a June 2010 delivery to
Iceland, but was damaged by a tsunami in the February 2010 Chilean earthquake,
suffering damage to the main engine and seawater in the engine room. Expected
the repairs to take 8 to 10 months with a new delivery date of summer / fall
