Another vessel seeking refuge in the Bedford Basin during the Nor'East gale was the Ro-Ro cargo vessel DUTCH RUNNER,a regular caller at Halifax and a vital link to the French islands in the Gulf of St Lawerance.Shown her on 3rd Jan. at anchor in the Bedford Basin.
